There have been several local fairs over the past couple of months and we finally got a chance to take the girls!
We decided to give the Cumming Fair a try, and managed to catch one of the Free Admission mornings. I was pleasantly surprised by this fair and there was a ton of festive sights for the girls to see.
After filling up our bellies with some lunch, we filled up our pockets with ride tickets. Anna begged to ride the elephants, but I panicked once I realized parents couldn't ride with their kids. Anna isn't always the most obedient little girl and I had no idea if she would actually stay in the ride or if she would try to climb off. But she was fantastic and had the biggest smile on her face, and waved at us every time her elephant flew by! I'm glad she had a good time because Momma was a nervous wreck the whole time, haha.
Anna got to ride her very first roller coaster!
She kept asking for more "caterpillar" and she did get to ride it again but then the long lines won out and we moved on.
There was a petting zoo area set up inside one of the big exhibition barns, which of course we had to visit.
I love that goofy girl!
Steve had his eye on this ride the whole morning and finally decided to brave it.
I love this picture of Steve and Anna contemplating the coaster together.
The day was getting hot and the girls were getting cranky so we wrapped up our morning with an ice cream cone - that sure perked up Anna's spirits!
What a fun morning spent at the Fair - we will definitely be back next year!
