Steve's parents generously offered to take the whole Forbes crew down to Orlando last week and we were thrilled to take another trip with our girls. October is a particularly festive time for our family - we celebrate the end of the Fall busy season, Poppy's birthday, and Kristy's birthday! It's also a fun time to be down at Disney, with EPCOT's Food and Wine Festival and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
We had fun taking our new Pathfinder on our road trip. It felt downright luxurious to have all that space and we were so happy to have our new car just in time for our trip!
We all stayed at a resort that I have never been to before - the Polynesian. What a cool resort! It is one of the resorts that is connected directly to the Magic Kingdom Monorail, which definitely made our park-hopping easier than having to drive everywhere or ride the buses. Anna got a kick out of all of the waterfalls and tribal drums.
Once we got settled in and unpacked, we loaded up the stroller and headed to EPCOT. First on the list? A Mickey ice cream bar, of course. And a nap.
All of the Food and Wine festival lines were really long so we didn't spend too much time there, but Steve and Kristy did manage to sneak in a sake bomb.
Anna loved Norway's Viking Cruise, and Maddie enjoyed the Nemo ride - especially the shark at the end!
EPCOT was the perfect place to stretch our legs after that long car drive, and we ended our day on the early side so we could hit the ground running the next day!
