Our Easter this year was very laid-back...since it came right on the heels of the end of Steve's tax busy season, I think we all enjoyed taking it easy!
I did help to host the neighborhood Easter egg hunt with my neighbor, Suzette. The kids all had a blast and Anna and Maddie especially loved getting the chance to hunt eggs with the big kids. Anna was especially funny to watch - up until this year she has always been the youngest one in the "baby" yard, and this year she was one of the oldest ones. She was so proud of her full basket of eggs!
My girls sat down in Suzette's yard to watch the big kids do their egg hunt, and it wasn't long before they tore into their candy haul.

Anna got a kick out of this candy bracelet until it started getting sticky, and then she was not a fan.
Our bird's nest cake was the perfect rainy day activity leading up to Easter.
We ended up spending Easter day at the Renaissance Fair, so after a much-needed bath, we brought the girls into our room to see what the Easter Bunny brought them. I was adamant that they not get more sugar or more little toys, so they got a balance bike, a tea set, and books.
We hope you all had a wonderful Easter too - we are ready for Spring!
