Steve has had season tickets to the Braves for a few seasons now, so we finally got brave (heh) and took the girls for their first baseball game! We prepped them a lot with Curious George baseball episodes and a Curious George baseball book, and budgeted plenty of cash for snacks.
This day started out with a series of fortunate events - the girls were SO excited about their kiddo-sized camping chairs, both girls ended up napping in the car on the way down, and our parking lot was really close to the stadium. And our seats are in the shade!
We picked up sub sandwiches from Publix along with chips and bottled waters. And beer.
The girls got a massive kick out of the whole tailgating experience.
Steve showed Anna how to eat peanuts. Which involves Mommy cracking the shells and Anna eating the peanuts :-)
After peanuts we moved to ice cream.
This picture made me laugh so I had to include it - sorry Steve!
We cut out early from the game to beat traffic (and to protect our snacks budget), but overall we had such a wonderful time and we are already planning our next baseball game outing!
