The weather has been warming up (quickly) around here and we celebrated the last few days of Spring with lots of play time and even a little road trip back to Madison to visit with Steve's parents and to visit their beautiful Madison home one last time.
I squeezed the girls into last year's bathing suits so we could fill up our pool for the first time.
Somebody fell asleep after filling up her belly with some Southern cooking in downtown Madison.
Picking out her favorite chocolate ice cream at Scoops
With sprinkles, of course!
I don't remember if I have mentioned it before, but Anna calls this her "party dress", and she picks it out to wear whenever she feels it is a special occasion or if she is feeling particularly celebratory that day.
In hindsight, we should have taken these pictures pre-ice cream and pre-nap time loopiness. I still think they turned out pretty cute, though!
The girls loved this porch swing. We are thinking about finding a place for one in our yard too, now.
Photographic proof that Anna isn't a stinker just for my pictures! What a ham.
The girls' school is finished for the year now and it's hot and humid outside - bring on Summer!
