Last one, I promise!
This was the day of the Epic Sandcastle. The whole family jumped in on the construction!
Watching a kite surfer - this guy was beyond amazing to watch.
On our last day at the beach, we planned to go out to lunch at one of our favorite spots - Sharkey's, on Ocean Isle, which is the next island over from Sunset Beach. It was insanely hot that day, so instead of letting the girls watch TV all morning, Steve and I took them to The Museum of Coastal Carolina on Ocean Isle. The museum has a bunch of kid activities and even a touch tank, so the girls enjoyed themselves.
Anna loved the puppet theater.
The volunteer enlisted Anna's help to feed the hermit crabs.
Poppy caught a shark!
The girls are pouting because we had to throw the shark back in the ocean. Actually, Anna is pouting, and Maddie just likes to copy whatever Anna is doing.
The day after our trip home was Steve's 30th birthday. The girls thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Publix bakery and helped me pick out the best cake for him. And they even helped him blow out all those candles!
We had such a fun time at the beach and can't wait to go back again next year!
