We had a bunch of social events surrounding Halloween - what a fun holiday this year! The girls were SO into it - they loved the costumes, they loved the parties, they loved the costume parades, and of course they loved Trick or Treating!
Anna's costume parade at school - she was so proud of her mermaid costume!
Anna asked me to take a picture of her and one of her school BFF's, Bronwyn.
All of the girls in her class - what a bunch of cuties!
Maddie in her costume parade. Anna was so sweet and wanted to come watch Maddie too (Maddie was with me to watch Anna's). I love that they want to cheer each other on!
I am the Room Parent for Maddie's preschool class and I volunteered to come and help for their class Halloween party. Here is Maddie being the big helper and passing out the napkins for Ms. Sharon. I was so proud of her!
Matching ghosts on the spider web
Our friend Elizabeth invited us over for a Halloween party with the kids. Anna met her friend Henry at their gym class last year and Elizabeth and I have been friends ever since!
Elizabeth made these cute mummy hot dogs - can you see them?
After Elizabeth's party we raced home to get our chili in the slow cooker for our neighborhood's Trick or Treat Kickoff Party, which we (sort of) helped organize with our neighbor/friend Suzette. Here we are setting up!
Helping Daddy pick out a costume for the Halloween party
After the neighborhood party, some of the older girls took my girls in hand and went off trick-or-treating.
We got caught in a surprise (freezing!) rainstorm, but the girls came home happy and loaded up with candy...and they've been begging to go trick or treating again ever since!
