We took the girls to Charleston to visit Poppy and SuSu over the Memorial Day weekend. The drive is long but the weekend was wonderful and we were so happy we went, and that Brad and Kristy were there too!
Relaxing in their backyard garden - the girls loved their surprise pool!
It was also SuSu's birthday weekend, so the girls got plenty of helpings of birthday cake and ice cream.
On Friday morning, we took the girls to Folly Beach for a little while. It was a fun precursor to our upcoming beach trip!
On Saturday Poppy and SuSu took us to the aquarium. It is a cute aquarium and the girls enjoyed it, especially the touch tank with the sting rays and sharks.
Checking out their wing spans
We saw their Ice Age 4D movie, which was actually a bit scarier than I would have thought, with all of the dinosaurs. The girls did great though.
Saturday night, SuSu hired one of her former students to come babysit the girls so we could all have an adult night out - great idea SuSu!! Here we are on a rooftop bar.
There was drone flying all around the area and we kept trying to figure out what it was doing, but no luck.
Thank you for a fun weekend, Poppy and SuSu! Anna was crying on the way home saying she missed everybody but we assured her that we will get to see everyone again soon!
