Last week, we drove to Sunset Beach for the annual Forbes family summer vacation. We were thankful to have great car rides, perfect weather, and especially no shark attacks.
Opening Steve's Father's Day presents. The girls "made" him kid questionnaire books with some pretty hilarious answers, and we gave him a nice duffel bag and matching dopp kit. He's been using my green Vera Bradley one for years so we figured it was time for him to have one of his own!
First crabbing session! Anna was majorly into the crabs this year so she and SuSu spent a lot of time down on the dock checking the crab trap!
How cute is she!
Collecting some seashells
SuSu doing some gymnastics
Maddie telling SuSu how old she is. Two!
Ahhh! Crab on the floor!
These kids really are fearless with these things.
Out for the first night of surf fishing. Poppy is wearing his Father's Day present, a personalized fishing vest with "Shark Master" - in honor of his annual capture of a baby shark.
Maddie caught some fish too!
Chilling out with Aunt Kristy
The Shark Master didn't disappoint! He caught a shark, right off the bat!
Stay tuned for part two!
